Bad news...just checked my bank statement online...the $1,499 has now been charged to my card. I am contacting my credit union right when they open. I am really pissed now. The phone number that is connected to the transaction is down in San Antonio, TX.

Even though the charge has been "processed," it will be credited to your account while the company conducts their investigation.

Yep, I filled out a Visa Dispute Form and it will take 5 business days for a provisional credit to be placed while they investigate. I should not be charged for anything since there is no way I made this charge. This has been quite the learning experience so far.

i've had my BMW VIsa stolen twice in 6 month. The first time, someone bought some medical equipment in Seattle. The second time, 2 charges at a Walmart store in Nevada. And this is what gets me about both: was there an ID check on both? I highly doubt it. So now, I notified BMW VISA that any charge over 100 dollar, I have to pre-approve it first. Problem solved.

Really. You can actually make those types of requests to the credit card company?

Did you make it with Visa directly or is BMW Visa some type of private bank? Maybe I have no clue what I am asking, hahaha.
