6FL Bluetooth Solution

There are few posts on this forum about the 6FL solution to bluetooth where one only needs the microphone and BT antenna with some dealer coding to get BT working. Is that only for Euro based cars or is this possible in the US using Autologic for coding?
Any info is appreciated, Thanks!

I don't think autologic has anything to do with bluetooth. What are you trying to do? Bluetooth for your phone? Or to stream music? For streaming music, you may want to check out the Blackberry stereo gateway. I have bluetooth in my car so my phone calls are picked up through the car itself but I wonder if not having bluetooth, calls would stream through the BB gateway like music would. It's only about $30 on amazon and it streams almost CD quality music.

Autologic can code the 6FL for BT/telephone.

So is this possible on US cars with coding from Autologic? assuming I buy a microphone and BT antenna?

You will need the telephone harness and swapping of some wires... do a search and you will find exactly what to get and do. But the most important thing is finding an Autologic shop close to you that will know what to do.

The code is there, it is just dormant.

Probably your BB will see the audio gateway as an A2DP device (which it is) vs. handsfree/headset - hence will not stream audio from calls.

That's how it works on my Windows Mobile device. But like you, calls go through the car Bluetooth and audio goes through the Blackberry stereo gateway. Works great, been doing it for over a year now. Get in, press play on the phone, no cables to worry about - take calls using the car and hear music via aux.
