yeah man, if its just a USB to Serial you can. I highly doubt its some funky ass connection. (Dan would know for sure)

probably cheaper on http://www.newegg.com if you don't mind waiting a couple days

The JB3 cable isn't a standard USB-Serial cable. If you really want to DIY it, here's the link.

If you want the 18ohm board upgrade done to run more boost for aggressive setups, let me know. I've done my own board and a few others.

It's NOT a standard USB-serial cable. For the price and time of the DIY, you're better off just ordering it. I told you already Boopie! What, you don't believe me?
