go with 20% i hate 35% people use it for the sun and etc i also want privacy when im in campus i dont want people wandering around my car if i leave my phone in there and etc..

I'm curious what the reverse LED bulb looked like before it went into the housing... have any pics or would you mind giving a description?

I used a different vendor (not BMW or forum-related) for a set. The only ones I've found that seem to be bright enough and have CAN-bus error elimination built in utilizes 8 SMT-mount LEDs. It's bright, but there's a whole lot of room for additional SMTs inside a 921 socket.

Well the stock bulb for the reverse before putting on the LED's were bright dont get me wrong!, i was seeing wether or not buy the LEDS from f1 but man it makes such a difference these are more brighter and whiter than stock!! it seems that the LED's itself has a 360 degree of light thats how it is set up..
i shot the fils via my blackberry but i can get you a very good a idea from a fellow M3 owner
