Don't really get the Q. to be honest. Think one knows what kind of driver one is. If you drive the car & I mean drive it not just 0-60/quick overtaking nonsense & also if you enjoy track days, M3 all the way. If not stick with what you have..

M3 for me all the way
Yes a 335 can be quicker but to me its not all about that an m3 is at the end of the day is an m3 the 335 as good as it is is still only that. (same as if you drive a 330d and a 335d goes past or you drive a wrx and an sti flys past etc etc to me like driving a 335i and an m3 passing big balls syndrome i suppose) Just my 2 pence |

What can I say. After owning 5 335i's an M3 is like starting again. Might not be as fast as the chipped 335i but a totally different feel. The sound make all the difference. Loving the M3 so much I might just get another one. The only problem I see is the fuel thirst.

M3 has the Kudos, for sure that a 335i will never have.
M3 looks more expensive.

Definately the M3 for me.
At the end of the day a 335 is just that. You can't beat the handling ... the sound of the M3.

I had this dilema in March when I bought my 335i. I had a budget of up to £35k. I was originally looking at an M3 but bought a nearly new 335i as I wanted as much warranty as possible and couldn't justify the M3's higher running costs. If I earnt an extra 10k a year I'd have bought a nearly new M3 as i think most 335 owners would.

had them both - love them both.
depends how your finances stack up in the end. if you can justify the costs of the M - have the M. If not, have the 335i - it won't disappoint either!
