I'm truly amazed, i've had the unfortunate task of driving a wide range of bog standard 4 cyclinder diesels the mrs brings home from work and most of them do low 40's, maybe mid 40's or high 40's on the real shitty 130bhp ones.
Given how it can be that frugal and at the weekend immensely fun on the country roads its a winner. I assume your 48mpg figure it only achievable on the ED (57plate onwards) 335d model. //Just redeem yourself by getting it as low as possible this weekend |

my old car was a bog standard 4 cylinder diesel, not very refined or half as powerful, still it was comfy and did munch the miles and returned 58mpg on the same journey. so it did the job well. still, im amazed that it is not much of a loss in consumption for the gain in everything else the car has to offer. i dont know if its to do with the ED or not though dont worry, i will be having a play at the wekeend to make up for it |

regarding tints, the e92 can be specced with "sun protection glass as factory option" tints to you and me. I am not a fan of bling but with the coupe and different sized windows, just looks right, might be because I have it on mine
