Thank god....

...the Aussie forum is finally starting to hot up a bit!

to all those who've had the patience and commitment to keep it humming along, despite the painfully obvious lack of numbers in months gone by. I may be amongst the third oldest here, and admit to being a past sceptic, but by geez it's coming together Look forward to sharing the odd moments of BMW pleasure and pain with you in the months to come...

I don't, but that's only because I don't want to upset anyone who hasn't already got/ ordered Montego/Jade Grey/Aluminium . It may well be too much for y'all to bear!!!
BUT.. I'm in Bahrain right now, and when I've got a few more secs to spare I'll do it (promise!).

No relation between Nick and ChrisG, though it's almost embarassing to admit Chris is young enough to be my son!

Astra gotta agree Oman is beautiful with rugged desert mountains and amazing dunes in the Empty Quarter, and Dubai is...well..amazing. Did you try out the indoor ski slope?

And BTW you'd be surprised to hear it's not always hot here. Right now in winter it is a beautiful - 25 degrees in the daytime. In Riyadh, in centre of Saudi, it can get down gto minus 1 degree at night! Mid summer though, I've seen it go to 50 degrees, with 90% humidity.

yes dad 90% humidity Well at least your not experiencing that i hope. 25 degrees is winter temp for Bahrain, not bad at all.

Great to see people getting active with contributions. Having said that though, I hope that there is a BMW theme in most of the threads and posts. We have an "official off-topic thread" and yes, I also have been guilty of going off topic at times. Overall it's great to see the increase in activity in the Aussie forum and the friendliness and helpfulness of people here. Keep it up!!!
