Hi all

Hey guys, i'm in Penticton,BC. I'm on the market for a new car. I drove the 323i and the 328i last week. It was my first time driving a BMW, and it won't be my last. I've been doing a lot of reading on this forum, lots of great info. Anyone get a car from Kelowna BMW?

I'm really not sure which car to get, i know i want manual. I found the 323 pretty quick, but there's a few option that it seems only the 328 has. The 328 i drove was auto, they didn't have a manual on the lot. So it was a bit hard to compare the two.
But i'm thinking if i go to the 328, why not go to the 335i, it's not that much more Has anyone driven them all? I would appreciate the feedback on the difference. Is the 335i that much faster?

If you want to test drive a manual, I suggest you call ahead to the four dealers in the lower mainland to see if they have a 335 MT available.

When I was looking a couple months ago, Park Shore and Autowest didn't have any but Brian Jessel in Burnaby did.

As of today. We (Auto West BMW) don't have a manual 335i coupe/sedan instock. It is pretty rare to have a manual BMW in stock anyways.

I went to The BMW Store. Talked to John Chavner. Real nice guy. He let me try the 335 auto. no manual in stock. OMG. That is one serious machine I'm in love. I'm thinking the 328 might be enough. Otherwise i'll be getting way too many speeding ticket with the 335 Seriously, i'm planning to buy towards the end of march, so it give me some time to decide which one to get.

323 is a chihuahua, peppy, but not as fast as a greyhound
328 is a greyhound
335 is a greyhound on crack

If your budget permits, 335s is the best car that you can get at that price range. e46 M3 like power with more precise handling plus with the ECU tuning out there already (400hp) it can probably catch up to the E90 M3s that are coming out next year.

Hate to be biased but I haven't looked back since picking up my 335i. Well maybe to look at the cars I've passed. LOL

IMHO 335i's an awesome car.

Since you are up in the winter wonderland you might want to consider the 328xi or 335xi 4-wheel drive versions. The power of the 335 can't be fully appreciated in ice/snow slippery conditions.

We don't get much snow here in Penticton. And when we do it's only from mid-december to end of january. So i think i could manage to drive the 335
