Does turning SE to M Sport void the warranty?
Changing the cosmetics of the vehicle i.e
Front Bumper Back Bumper Side Skirts Interior Trim Void the three year warranty on new cars, was thinking of turning an SE model into an M sport, more aggressive, I know this was all possible at point of order --> <-- |

i'd say so because its not factory standard, technically. Saying that if your engine went i'd like to see it stand up in court that you changing the side skirt blew up the engine, front bumper i suppose they could say it was a heating issue because of the different front bumber, air ducts etc but again very hard to prove.

Might void paint warranty if not fitted by a BMW dealer but it would not effect anything else.

That would be up to the insurance company, not BMW, so you should probably inform them but the question was would warranty be affected.
They're hardly "body panels", they're just bits of plastic. The shell is the same for SE and M-Sport.

Might aswell buy an M Sport - think about the possible insurance implications too.

steering wheel?
even though the parts are brought from bmw them-self, would it matter who or what garage fitted them? regarding insurance am sure these parts are not going to make the car faster would it matter, essentially bmw genuine parts 1. fixed at bmw, every thing should be okay? 2. fixed at garage ? |

And the insurers will think you're a boy racer modder and charge you even more. My insurer wanted £125 extra for me to put SMALLER wheels on. |

What's the difference in purchase price between an SE and MSport?
If you take into account the price of the parts AND the cost of fitting AND the extra insurance premium over however many years you keep the (now modified) car, AND the potential difficulty selling again... Stick with the SE, or sell it and buy a MSport |

you can pick up second hand m sport bumpers very cheap on ebay, steering wheel around £250
So if you got only bumpers and st wheel left to do- go for it
