2011 335i Conv...Waiting game begins

Pulled the trigger and placed order on 05/03 for 2011 335i Conv. It has been sitting on "On Order" since then. Have been calling 800# everyday. "Scheduled for production with no confirmed production date" message

CA tells me that the delay is 'cause of the color comb & options I chose. Is my color combo & options are that uncommon? Even spoke to a live person at 800#. I was told my Vehicle is in "Daily production run" queue...whatever that means...

Congratulations! Only reason I can se for the delay is that BMW is having trouble getting certain leather flown in due to the volcanic ash disruption. This might be what your CA means.

Production started on 5/21 with an estimated completion date of 5/31. CA called and gave me VIn#.

Did you check with the person who ordered it for you? BMWNA says my car is waiting transportation, but I found out from the dealer that it is on FAUST with a 6/18 arrival date to Baltimore.

Yep, My CA told me that its on Faust scheduled to arrive Baltimore on 6/18.
