HID Fogs 3k not yellow enough?

Finished my DDM HID Fog 3k's and they're awesome on the road but when I look at them head on they're more white than yellow. Is there a different bulb that's more yellow?

might want to try to get some translucent yellow material to put over the fogs?

there's a thread somewhere about it and it looked pretty good.

Might need to go 2500k. I stuck with halogen bulbs for this reason, I was not pleased at how white-r the 3000k HID bulbs were.

You can go with some Nokya/Luminic yellow halogen bulb as they'll be more golden yellow. With the 3k HID capsule, more light bleeds through the yellow ion coat causing it to appear more white.

In the meantime, yellow lamin-x will do the trick

i think i'd rather stick with the HID fogs as they are. i definitely don't want to add laminx and halogen isn't bright enough to be useful in any sense. thanks anyways guys!

How did you put them on, I'm having trouble putting mine on. Last time I tried, the cap popped -__-

just followed the thread. they probably popped because the polarity swap. the connector that goes to the bmw wiring is flipped. check the original thread. page 9 specifically.

I thought the same with 3000k hid fogs and later installed yellow lamin-x film on the fogs. Here's the results:

That's not what I was saying. The BMW wiring is swapped when plugging into the ballast. Check the wiring colors.
