Hi, I'm looking at a 335i and it's at 30,000 miles so obviously another 10,000 until the factory warranty goes out. However, I was wondering if the 120,000 mile HPFP warranty still applies even if I buy the car from a non-BMW dealership? I asked the SA and they said there's no warranty besides the factory warranty it has. It's an 07 model so I'd assume it should have one or does the SA not know what they're talking about? Also, would the third party warranty be just as good or even necessary if the fuel pump warranty still applies?

BMWs have a 4 year 50000 mile warranty. The HPFP warranty still applies - regardless of where you buy the car.
