Code Reset
Hey everyone,
Bought my first BMW a few months ago, and I love it. Its a 2006 325xi. I just had work down and my car, and it now has the 4x4 and ABS light on. I'm looking to get it reset, but don't want to go to a dealership to pay $150 just to have them plug a code scanner in for 3 minutes. Anyone on here that can help me out? Thanks! |

drive it for few minutes or turn your steering wheel all the way left, then all the way right

Typical problem in my last vehicle was that the ABS sensor would get dirty from the brake dust. That would screw up the sensor and cause warning lights. I would try to blow out the area to which the abs sensor connects and then see if there is an issue. Of course without the scanning tool you won't know which sensor to clean first, but there are only 4. I normally used compressed area.
