Aoline HID AE install.. PLEASE HELP!!

I'm at the car right now!! PLease help. I have read this:

and sadly I still don't understand some things...

The two things on the LEFT in the picture both had female ends.. what do they attach too??? The little resister looking thing and the giant silicone filled tube...
