E90 PRE LCI Amber Reflector FIX

Last weekend, I saw this at the shoppes at Pembroke Gardens right where i parked. I have an LCI and have vinyl overlays on my reflectors already, But i'm curious to know what this guy did to his headlights. does anybody know? I happen to like how they look and it was convenient that a black 'Before' version of the headlights parked next to the 'after'.

The owner left the moon roof open because it was so extremely hot that day. It was like 98 degrees and super humid because its been raining all these days.

Looks like overlays to me, although its hard to tell from that distance. Only other option from what I've heard is cracking them open and baking them in the oven.

Looks like he smoked the rest of that bitch, too, so the overlays aren't as obvious.

Probably smoked overlays.

Anybody know why the GunSmoked overlays costs twice the amount as normal ones?
