So im not handy either, but Im a dude and yes its nerve wracking at first but just get a drill bit and start on the brake pedal. It wont break, I promise. I didn't finish the gas pedal because it was too hot out and I'll do it later. You don't need a hand because there is no room for anyone else to be honest. Just have someone there for moral support then realize you didn't need them after. Now I can say I've installed pedals.
Just some support! Need pics of the pedals when they are done man. Good luck. |

its really not too hard to drill, just takes a decent drill and a steady arm with a bit of force, but the 3m idea is a very good alternative
3m is trusted to hold my spoiler on at high speeds, so im sure it will hold the pedal with no issues at all
