Is the jlevi e90 replica bumper compatible with headlight washers?
I was thinking of getting the e90 replica bumper, but don't know if it's compatible with headlight washers. Has anyone here tried that combo?
Has anyone modified their headlight washers to spray the intercooler instead? |

I think all you have to do is cut the holes in the bumper the same shape as the holes in the stock bumper. Then you can use the stock washer covers.
Is there a button you press to wash the headlights? This would definitely be a cool mod to make an intercooler sprayer like the Evo VIII had. |

If you are talking about the M3 Replica Front Bumper, the washers will not work with it!! The slope of both bumpers are different. Unless you took the time to custom fit it, otherwise don't bother.

Yes- the M3 replica bumper.
Wow- some conflicting info here. I was worried what BSM said would be the case. The length and angle of the "shelf" in front of the headlights seems different. Nick: have you seen anyone put headlight washers on this bumper, or are you speculating? dcorn: the headlight washers come on automatically every third time you wash the windshield. To rig it as an intercooler spray, you'd have to wire it up seperately. It'd be interesting though. It'd be cool to wire it to the kickdown switch or something, but you'd want a way to activate it manually to cold soak it before you knew you'd be on the boost. |

What you could do, is to buy the original M3 head light washers - drill the holes in the replica bumper, and fit these there.
I haven't tried it myself though - but it might work. ![]() |
