Where do you see "upgraded spark plugs"? In europe the kit just comes with a new set of std plugs for the N54.

Sorry, they don't say "upgraded" per se but "new". So they basically just change them out at that time? Weird they mention them at all then. Here's the part where they mention it:

For those interested, the BMW power kit upgrade includes:
1. New electric fan
2. New spark plugs
3. New radiator hoses
4. Secondary radiator
5. New DME
Note:The 1 Series Power Kit also requires the installation of the BMW Performance Air Duct Kit.

Yes, there is a set of plugs included. After changing them and installing the Power Kit, the plugs must be changed every 40.000 miles/60.000km.
