Prod. No. and Owners Circle info do not match

My CA gave me the production number yesterday and I tried to set up my Owners Circle account. When I put in the production number, a wrong car came up (close, but not a match). Instead of a Black Sapphire 335i, a Jet Black 335xi came up. I have the Vehicle Inquiry Report from the dealer and everything is correct there. FYI, the order went in last Monday (2/26). I didn't want to proceed to set up the account with a wrong car. What do you think?

I guess it's time to call my CA or the 800# and talk to someone.

I'm doing the PCD in May and I can just see myself getting there to see the wrong model waiting for me. That would really suck! This is driving me crazy!

No problem, same thing happened to me. He put your order in by changing a car already ordered for stock to your options. The options you see now are the old options. In a few days your options will show up. The Owner's Circle is several days behind.

Have you got a PCD date? I'll be there May 2nd.

That makes sense. Now I remember that the dealers will change options on cars that's already on order. Boy, I was getting a little nervous there.

We are trying to set a PCD date for late May. I'm sure you will have a great time. I hear nothing but good experiences at PCD. Let us know how it goes and post some photos too.

California? You are going to have a nice drive home (assuming you are driving back). How long is the drive? I thought the drive back to Chicago is going to be a long one.

I'm going to take a tour of the East starting with the Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the Dragon then Blue Ridge Parkway/Skyline Drive and up to Niagara Falls before heading west. I doubt I'll have less than 5000 miles on my 335 Coupe when I get back to LA a month or so later.

That's some drive! At least you will pass break in and be able to open it up and enjoy the car. I'm planning on doing Shyline Drive back to NY from PCD as well.
