CPO hidden fees

Hello everyone,

I'm close to pulling the plug on this 07 328i e90 CPO. The car has ZPP and xenons and has about 31000 miles and being offered for around $23000. Sounded like a fair deal to me would love to hear your comments on the same!

Now for the question, i've seen most dealerships charge additional fees (doc fee, etc) for a CPO. Are these charges mandatory? are there any other hidden charges i should discuss with the dealer to avoid any unpleasant surprises while taking delivery?

Would appreciate any input in this regard. Cheers!

doc fees vary by state, but i only paid 55 doc. that was the only fee other than the dmv. my dmv fees were also super low since it was just registered. i only paid to transfer the title (think i only paid ~20). they show you the price breakdown on the computer screen before you buy. theres a ton of optional fees, but again they are optional

Here in NC doc fees aren't regulated I've seen 300 all the way to 500, the thing that truely sucks is if the dealership has a parent company the doc is paid to them it's not profit for that dealership so when they tell you it's really not fee income it really isn't. That being said if you've ever been in the main office of a truely big parent company for a car dealership there are about 12 office personel tracking down your correct payoff, getting your title app down, pushing through registration, verifying insurance fifty billion times so it does pay someone's salary.
