How much extra does it cost to get the traffic updates?

It's included for at least 4 years (probably life of the vehicle) with iDrive/Nav.

If you've got a navi screen then you've got navi. You may or may not get traffic info. In IL you'll get it if you're in or near Chicago or St. Louis. Otherwise not.

Incidentally, there's that book that says "Owner's Manual". You might refer to that first before you ask questions here.

lol, yeah im sorry for the dumb easy questions...

i have been stuck at work all day, i am just itching to get home and read that thing front to back...all 5 of them.
