Bmw perf exhaust...

Hey couple questions... I have the Bmw Perf exhaust on my car! Does the golf tee mod help make any difference with the exhaust? Also has anyone added the Dimisa Tips with Bmw exhaust? If so has it changed the sound of the exhaust? Thanks!

Congrats. Awesome exhaust. Now, why would you want to change the sound of the finely tuned exhaust note of the PE by doing a golf tee mod?

As for the tips....members have definitely changed the exhaust tips with the Dimisa ones. Easy change. Some say it did change the sound a bit, and others say no. I persoanally don't think that slightly larger tips would change the exhaust note...at least, not noticeably. Change the tips for aesthetic reasons only.

i thought the US Spec PE does not have the valve, so it is basically golf tee'd... right?

The PE Exhaust does not have the valve in it like the factory muffler has. There is a metal rod that sticks out on the muffler where you stick the vacuum hose so it does not try to activate the valve in the muffler. If you need a photo I am sure on of us can provide this.

NO Golf T mod for the BMW pref exhaust. There is a tip near the end of the drivers side pipe to put the vacuum line to. There is no valve.

Yup, no mod to do, unless the car is euro spec and its a euro exhaust.
