Timing lower with FMIC?
Hey guys, just a quick observation:
I've added an FMIC to the mix over the weekend, and when I used to get 13 degrees with meth (DO10 nozzle @ 200psi) @ 17.5psi as per PROcede logging, now I dropped to 10.5 with the same target and nothing else changing. I'm definitely flowing a shit ton of meth (18 Debug Byte 7 on IFS-30) and IAT drop verifies this. At the start of the gear, I am getting about 6.5 degrees but it steadily rises with no KR. The only thing I can think of is the new FMIC flows a ton better at this boost level thus the car is hitting a lower timing target.

You should only see 13-13.5deg if you rev it out to at least 6700rpm. And in 3rd gear since the engine ramps up too fast in the first two. Also, try doing a dyno style pull (2000-7000rpm). When logging normal acceleration runs (grabbing the next gear at ~5000rpm, it's pretty common to not see the full 10deg that you would see if u did a single gear full sweep run.
