Tough crowd here. Anyone talking about wholesale auction numbers as a fair measure of value for a CPO BMW is living in a dreamworld. BMW dealers kill it on CPO cars, they know people are justifiably scared to death of owning these cars out of warranty. When you buy a CPO you're paying a double premium of sorts, one for the cost of any reconditioning and enrolling the car in the warranty program with BMWNA, and another for the convenience of buying the car at a dealer, getting the subvented financing, and padding the dealer's bottom line.

Unless the car is an oddball or really stale (or both) you're going to pay top used car money for a CPO car from a dealer, and the OP did just that. He saw the value in his deal, others won't. Thankfully there are plenty of cheaper cars from non-BMW dealers and private sellers for those folks.

Enjoy the new car OP.
