SOS button and Ipod

Well i found the ipod adapter which was hidden behind everything in the glove box though when i connected it, i got the little bmw icon which was cool but my car started being and a warning message came up saying SOS malfuction? When i disconnect the car the message goes away? Any idea why its doing that. I tried searching but never relevant came up.

Never heard this one before.

I would guess something isn't right in the installation.

Despite the SOS malfunction, does the iPod work?

Hehe, I got "Window anti-trap function disabled!" on mine. It went away on its own after a couple of restarts tho lol
