Just weighed 335i open diff.

Stock Open Diff 15lbs with out final drive ring gear.
Quaife LSD 18lbs with out final drive ring gear.
Can anyone chime in with the wave-track weight?
So this confirms what a few have suspected about gas mileage losses. 3lbs of rotating mass. The pros still win over the cons of going LSD but I figured I would confirm this.Thanks

overall i found a 10lb difference between the quaife pumpking and OEM open diff pumpkin. I also went to a higher final drive, 3.08 -> 3.46 so, the gears in the rear were larger naturally..

I only wanted to compare the diffs because I used the same pumpkin and final drive gear so I just excluded those so I could see the difference in rotating mass weight. It is hard to say how much of that 10lbs is rotating mass or unsprung mass.
