E92 Coupe M-Sport...
G'day guys.
I have seen photos / photochops on the other forum pages of the E92 M-Sport kit, and they look sensational. Does anyone know when it will be released here? I called five different BMW dealerships in Sydney - four said it would be around six months or more away, while the fifth said I could put a $2000 deposit down for an E92 and he would find out for me (!? ). I would get an E92 now, but want the sport kit and am prepared to wait! Thanks.

Hi, im in the same boat as you. i have been trying to find out when it will be released in Aus as well but no dealer knows. I will keep contact with a couple of dealers until they can find out for us. I hope it won't take six months that would absolutley suck.

Try ringing BMW Aust directly
Have you tried ringing BMW Aust directly. When I had an A4 I rang Audi directly and they were very helpful with a lot of technical questions that the dealer couldn't answer.
I couldn't wait for the M-sport pack either, so plan on fitting the aerokit front lip, and maybe the M-kit rear, or leave the rear stock when my car arrives in May. I also don't like the anthracite headlining, or shadowline trim, or M wheels, so I would have only bought the pack for the body kit really (with BMW pricing, probably cheaper as a pack than bodykit alone I bet). |

Thats why im waiting to order the m-kit with a factory order so i don't have to pay a BS $2500 for spraying them. (patience is my virtue). I know you said you couldn't wait for the m-kit but the dealership is going to rip you off with ordering the lip or whatever part you want and also add the spraying cost. |

An alternative is to import a bodykit from E92kits.com and they are negotiating spray painting them pre-delivery. It's not exactly the M-sports kit but still looks pretty good.

I haven't priced the aerokit lip yet here, but US pricing's about $380. I'll get my own bodyshop to do the painting and install. The e92kits M rear apron's about US$600, and they're getting back to me with shipping costs. Anyway, want to own my car for a while first, and see what cosmetic changes will have best look/price compromise. |

Another piece I'm looking at is the Hamann rear diffusor, which is an add-on piece to the OEM bumper. Euroline in Melbourne?Sydney? will let me know the price when available. |

Hi guys - thanks for the feedback.
I will wait another month or so and see what info I can get... after that, I may have to make some decisions as I don't want to wait 6-9 months!!

G'Day guys.
An update - I called BMW Headquarters in Melbourne, and was informed by one of their sales specialists that they don't know when the M-Sport will be released here in Oz. In fact, it could be first quarter next year! It wasn't a quick call - the first person I was directed to did some quick checks on his BMW Intranet and couldn't find the info, and then he passed me on to his supervisor, who gave me the update. I guess I will consider ordering an 325i E92 Coupe with the Aero kit, or an E90 325i with M-Sport. I'll then look to change my car in late 2008. Will think it over though, as the M3 concept looked so awesome!
