hey everyone... i'm sure most of you have heard about the limited edition set of 30 matte Space Gray (Frozen Gray) E92 M3's that were reserved earlier today.. they all were reserved in a matter of 12 minutes.

I was one of the ones to reserve, and I'm looking to dump my spot to the highest bidder. You will own the golden ticket to pick up your 1 of 30 Frozen Gray M3's. A few years down the line, when everyone is painting cars matte colors, you would be one of the original owners of one of these 30. It is also the 25th anniversary M3.

My reservation is at a BMW dealer here in northern NJ, and the deadline to finalize purchase is July 1st. Pleas PM me if you are interested. I have also posted on other BMW forums about this reservation spot, be quick in making your decision. I can provide all of the necessary details, as well if necessary, accompany the taker of the reserve spot to the dealer.

BMW NA will take 30 reservations and develop a waiting list, requiring the customer to provide
name, address, phone number, e-mail address and a preferred BMW center if available. If no specific center is requested, the center tied to the customer’s Zip Code will be used.

Once the customer information is collected, the relevant center will be notified of the customer’s reservation and directed to contact the customer immediately to organize the sale of a car. The customer and center will have 10 days from the customer reservation date to complete an agreed contract for sale of a car. After 10 days, the customer reservation will expire and assigned to the next available alternate customer.

Within 10 days: The relevant BMW center must provide to BMW NA at Fax number 201-930-8484 the following: Copy of the signed buyers order or lease agreement, copy of a deposit receipt or check from the customer, and a copy of the customer’s driver’s license. Once the center/customer agreements have been received and certified for authenticity by BMW NA program headquarters, BMW will arrange shipment of one Frozen Gray M3 coupe to the relevant center for delivery to the customer.

Everything is specific to the customer with the reserved slot; you can't sell your slot.

to make money? same reason ppl sell thier position in line for the iphone, ps3 etc. if you can make a couple G's by just placing a phone call then why not?
