Dinan software for E9x

I saw this posted on Bimmerfest:

I heard yesterday from one of my friends @ BMW that Dinan does have a software update almost ready for the 335. Its my understanding that Dinan is going to release all software for the E9xs sometime this summer.

Does anyone know if the Dinan software will be a reflash or piggyback?

in the past, the Dinan stuff is a full reflash.
You need to Fed Ex themyour DMW(ecu) and they reprogram it completely.

I had their stage III kit in my 330iZHP.
It took about two days, as the cars dead once they pull the DME to ship.

Many BMW dealers are authorized Dinan distributers and in the past they were able to reflash the ECU without removing it.

How much rwhp can we expect from a Dinan upgrade?

When I called these guys a month ago, they said the 335 SW will be ready for the end of 2007.....

I hope you are right.

Dinan is SO SLOW!!! But my dealer will warranty anything they do. I don't expect the power gains from Dinan like we see with Procede

I wouldnt expect much. Dinan has always been very conservative with their ECU mods in order to keep their warranty status through BMW.

Ok. That makes sense. So it looks like Procede is the product to go with right now (in terms of perfomance and money).
