2007 CPO 335i 2dr $29,995. Is it worth it???
I need some help. Can anybody tell me if a fully loaded 335i 2dr with 57k for $29,995 is worth it? It is fully loaded with Idrive, manual, coral red interior? It also has 6-year/100,000 mile warranty too. Just need some feedback. Thinking bout buying.

I'd personally avoid 57k miles car with a manual transmission. for that money and a bit more, you could get something in high 30k miles and probably even CPO. |

I was able to pick up an 07 335i Coupe automatic with less than 24k for $29993. It was also CPO but it isn't fully loaded. I just had to drive 2+ hours to get it, but I thought I was lucky in getting it for that much with low mileage. The ones that I've seen fully loaded are probably 2k-3k more, but around 35k miles on it. Then again this was in the Los Angeles area. Definitely look around some more.

Agree with most on this thread. CPO covers the warranty/defect aspect, but higher mileage and over 50k means maintenance is coming out-of-pocket, i.e. why a lower mileage car is probably worth the extra $$$.

its CPO, its fully loaded, its manual........maybe ok price. a bit too high on miles for my taste. yeah, you could find something better with 30-40k miles, but will you is the big question....and will it be the one you like.
maintenance......not much there if its CPO. make sure it had 60k service done and you will be good to go. |

Hell, I'm selling my CPO'd '08 E90 with 33k miles and warranty until 2014 for 29000... SO IMO, it's not worth it, not one bit... But I'm biased... So don't count on my opinion...

Re-READ what I said, mine is an E90 with CPO warranty, (6 years, 100k miles) so I have 67k miles of warranty left, not 17k... But that's beside's the point... For 29995 for an 07, with 57k miles (43k warranty left) doesn't make much sense to me, considering that I'm selling an 08 with 33k miles and 67k miles of warranty left for less... But I digress, and going way off topic at this point...

when i was purchasing my coupe, there were 100s of 328s and 335s sedans at auto auction and yet in about 2-3 months of looking i couldn't find a single 335i coupe 6-speed. Having access to auto auctions, I ended up purchasing from the dealer.... |

100k mile warranty would never be my decision criteria. In what world does it make any sense to justify a purchase of a car with 60K miles just because it has all you need AND for that price. 6MT ain't rocket science. This ain't a 1947 Alfa Romeo 158 that its THAT hard to find. It is always about how far away (miles and time) you are from FACTORY warranty of 4yr/50k. CPO is great but not as good as factory warranty. OP, it is your decision, it is your money. MOST members here would advice you to continue shopping for other cars. Choice is yours, people can just help you out and voice their opinions. A piece of advice. Get a Galves account to know whole sale trade-in value of cars. |
