When to order E95?? E90 lease up in 11 months

I have an E90 whose lease is due to expire in 11 months(3/08). I have decided on the 335i Coupe(E92). Whats the best strategy as far as when to order the new vehicle as to not have any overlap?? Does this make any sense??? Thanks for your help.....

E95????

e90=sedan
e91=wagon
e92=coupe
e93=convertable

e95=Never heard of it!

there is a ton of info on http://fs.bmwusa.com/bmwfspulp/ most likely you could work something out with your sales rep as to turning in the old one and picking up the new one, Financial Services will extend the lease for up to 6 months until your new one comes in.

I am in a similar position, yes it makes sense. Beware that the 335 is kind of high in demand, so place the order a little early; let your salesperson know well in advance when your lease is up. Usually 3 months is a good upper limit for a BMW order-to-delivery timeframe, you may want to order it 4-4.5 months before your lease is up, and let the dealer know when you want to take delivery.

Im like you, the new car is exciting, but I dont want to overlap and throw away a lease payment just to get a new toy sooner.

+1 the safest way is to negotiate a price over invoice or off of MSRP on an '08 and let the dealer know when you want to take delivery,but shop around and maybe think about doing an ED,either a quick one or a vacation one....

Thanks for your kind, logical and informative reply. Now, that i have an approx. timeline i need to locate the right price for the vehicle..Looking for a 36 month lease on the 335i Coupe and only require the Sports Package and Auto Trans as options. I will obviously have to do my research..... Thanks again....
