Swapped tires only...TPMS not resetting

Hello guys,

I drive a 2008 e92 with the sport package and recently swapped my OEM RFTs with non-RFTs. I retained the same factory wheels. Now, ever since I swapped tires, the TPMS sensor refuses to reset and says 'TIRE LOW' when I try to rest it. I have checked the tire pressure and found it always to be equal to higher(due to hot days) than the recommended values.

If I am right, TPMS should work normally if just changed the tires and not wheels. I have a separate set of winter wheels/tires that does not have TPMS and I know that the warning light will be on always.

Any idea what could be the issue?

I got new non-runflats awhile back, as well as changing wheels recently and needed to reset the system. You have to start the engine (but don't drive off), scroll through the menu/screens (depending whether or not you have iDrive), find the "Reset" for the TPMS, and then hold the button down for 5 seconds, then push it again. It will then take about 30 seconds for the reset to complete. Drive it a mile or two and all the warning lights should turn off.
