factory 35 % tinted rear windows + 50 % front by sungard

Picture is a little bit dark shaded but 50 % film works perfectly with 35 %

We have tint laws in Mich. To lessen the stops, I did 50% front, 35% rear, 20% back. It almost looked like there was nothing on the fronts. This was on my S4 sedan.

I will be doing 35% all the way around when my car arrives.

Nice wheels,
Exactly what I was thinking.

OP seems like its half and half, more or less. I think having different tints is pretty standard I see a lot of cars with seemingly stock tint being darker in the rear and lighter in the front. Mine's like that for now, CPO though so idk if last owner did it.

It'll be a personal preference kind of thing. If you're in a state where they beat up on tints, the lighter front may be enough to keep you relatively safe from pull overs. If the state/city is generally okay with tints, I'd go even all around (or at most a darker rear window but even on the sides). I have one car "mini-vanned" (35% front/20% back) and the other same on the sides (30% ceramic) and I'd do the same/same again, no question. I think the mix tint on the side ruins the visual balance of the car's lines.

Again, personal taste, though...

Bought my 2008 used and first thing I did is got rid of the dark tint on the front windows. Even here in FL, I'd rather see at night than stay cooler during the day. Plus, while driving a BMW, who doesn't want to be seen? I don't pick my nose while driving.

Mixing up the tint will make the car look throw'd off. I'd recommend 35% on the sides and 20% on the rear windshield only at the least.

20% all around looks best IMO especially for those who live in hot climates

It looks lighter or darker depending on your distance and angle to the car. Farther away, the tint looks lite. Up close, it looks dark.

What rims are those!? Absolutely beautiful!!
