Strut Bar for E90

What do you guys think of this strut bar for sale?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Front...item1c13b6574d

Since most thread say that strut bars are useless, so therefore paying for a cheap one just for looks is not too bad.

Let me know your inputs.

Thanks!

I have a similar one and been happy with it. BTW it might not fit if you have OEM Airbox.

Not 100% sure, since I have an aftermarket DCI and it fits perfect, I think if you have OEM Airbox there isn't sufficient height clearance....

The BMW Performance strut brace ($230 at Tischer) is available for all E9x except 335i, so I guess that one should also be fine for 325i.

that ebay one looks like shit. it looks horrible. no offense. thats just a personal preference. Why not buy one from MFD or BMW? those are the two im looking at. the plus to bmw is it doesnt block the oil cap...

No offense taken, the whole idea of forum to provide your input.

Ironically I think the same of MFD + structurally it looks like it's lacking rigidness since it uses pivot style joints....

If I'm not mistaken it's OK on 328i since OEM AirBox is smaller...

I agree. I think you should go with the bmw one... looks the best I think. but till a lot to spend on a cosmetic mod that really doesnt do all that much.

unless you have a steep driveway. when going up or out of it it may reduce flex and scrape. maybe.
