335 First Service

Had my first service 20000KL done today at motonet at eagle farm great job and service.
Replaced oil castrol synthetic
Replaced oil filter i supplied
Replaced braked fluid
Replaced coolant
Vacuum car did not need a wash
Carried out computer scan and other inspections

TOTAL PRICE $345
GREAT GUYS AS OWNER HAS BMWS
EXCELLENT

CASTROL EDGE SPORT $160 PLUS GST
LABOUR $90 PLUS GST FOR THE WHOLE SERVICE
BRAKE FLUID AND COOLANT $63 PLUS GST

That's crazy cheap considering it included a brake fluid change and a coolant change. I don't know why you would need to replace either of those after 20,000kms though...

That's great price.... My E39 is comming up for a service and since my office is close to Eagle Farm, I'll use them instead of BMTS @ Brendale.

Brake fluid change is required every 2 years because it absorbs moisture from the air which reduces its purpose. I also do a coolant change at 2 years for good preventative maintanaince.

I didn't think Chappy had owned his car for that long.. I'm due for brake fluid at the moment and i'm not overly keen to bleed the brakes as i've never done it before.. I might just have to take a trip down for brisbane for that sort of money..

Ive had the car almost 2 years now brake fliud was due as it was telling me in the i drive service and coolant is due after 2 years.

Doesn't 2 years fly! Did you get them to stamp the book? Bit of a mark up on the oil, but they all seem to do that.

I might take mine there for a 'scheduled' oil change in the next week or two, thanks mate.
