Question about the free bov diy

I would have posted in the diy thread, but I figured I would get a better and faster response here.

I did the free BOV diy and just wanted to make sure that I did it correctly since there was only one picture in the thread.

I purchased two 3/4 inch plugs from homedepot.
http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1...atalogId=10053

These did NOT fit however. I had to flip it around and use the square part to plug it, which actually fit quite well. I did not use electrical tape because it made it slip out more easily.

The blow off noise produced is noticeable, but barely. Perhaps my BMS DCI has something to do with it?
Perhaps placebo?

Here are some pictures. If I did something wrong, please tell me. Thanks!

The set up is actually very noticeable with the windows down and music off. It sounds very nice. Very not ricer.

I did this a few weeks ago. Definately noticable over stock but not anywhere near as loud as a real BOV. It's worth it if you like the sound though
