Question About THROWING CODES
If you want some background info you can read it here
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...TT+throws+code However, i was hoping some of you guys can help me out with a question...I got a service engine light when the SSTT was not put in the right way. I got it checked and found out it reads something with the TMAP. Once i got it checked the light went away...Does this mean the code went away? Or is it still stored and I need to get it cleared? |

What version are you running, 29.2+? If so, yes the code is most likely stored and you need to clear it if it was related to the TMAP.
Find a buddy in your area with the BT tool or a shop with a GT1 to confirm. |

Dude, he never got codes, and would normally not get codes if and when the SSTT is installed properly. Obviously, the ONLY reason he got, and you are getting codes is due to faulty installation. It's not his fault you got a code.
