E90 Alignment
Took the car recently to get an alignment (Not at a dealership) at a specified price. About 20 minutes later the mechanic told me that the "Stability Control" needs to be reset on these cars equipped with the sport suspension and requested $50 more to do so.
Upon further questioning he said something about any time you touch the front toe the cars stability control or steering wheel angle sensor will go off? Can anyone here who's gotten an alignment on their 3 series chime in on this? Was this guy BS'ing me and increasing the price only because it's a Bimmer or is what he's saying true. It sounds like total BS to me and I don't see how this car requires special treatment when being aligned. Should be no different than anything else. Car in question is a 07 3 Series Sedan with Sport Package. |
