What changed in 3/07 build that fixed Angel Eye errors?

Hello all,

Just had to pull my Weisslichts (even though they looked great) because the kept throwing errors on my e92 with an 09/06 build date. I remember reading somewhere that builds before 03/07 have issues with angel eyes. What changed, is it hardware, software, is it fixable, what? Any info is appreciated!

Thanks,
Ian

my 07 335 has an 06 build date, I dont have angel LED's yet, but I am shopping....I wonder the same thing you said....I have LED license plate bulbs, on occasion (like at least once a month) I get a brief malfunction light error for them, then it goes away....I think it has to do with temp outside too...weird...

Well let us know what you get and how it works out. I suspect Weisslichts will throw errors for you. Curious if we have other options. Also, I am running "error-free" lic plate lights and they work as advertised.

I have "error free" city vision lighting LED AE's from **********s, and I am getting an error for each side, all the time. I called **********s and they said this is the first they've heard of that happening. I am a 9/06 build, so I am curious about this also.

It's the LED angels giving off the error. I would suggest looking into the Lux H8 instead if you want it to be error free.

Will this error occur with your OSS headlight package as well?

i have 12/06 built, tried RD leds, Lux 8(from my buddy), hids, all give me errors.
i would say just buy gp thunder/mtec and call it a day, 100% no errors and unbeatable cheap.
if you have money to spend, try OSS...they are awesome.

I have an 11/06 build E92, errors with older versions of RD LED's, not the newer ones, and ZERO errors with my H8 LUX
