Runflat noise level
I am switching to 162's with non-RF's this week, and I am actually somewhat relieved. I was heading back from a road trip this weekend, and I couldnt help but notice how much road noise my RF's were producing. I turned off my stereo at one point just to listen, and the noise level was greater than my wonderful I6 . I have the bridgestone potenza RE050A RF's by the way....
Well, as I put on the 162's with All season performance tires (Pirelli Pzero nero M+S) that are not RF's, Ill be interested to see how the ride of the car changes. I figure that with the decrease in sidewall size and larger wheels, it shouldnt change much. I do like the ride of the sport package and how it sits now. I just hope that these tires wont be as noisy as the Bridgestone's were... Anybody have 162's on a sport suspension w/o runflats? How has the ride changed? 161's come off tomorrow and 162's on... |
