As far as where you can find that mount... its not a Pod per se... Just a medal clip to place the gauge on. I'm pretty sure you can find it in a Summit Racing magazine... Made by Autometer... But dont quote me |

I'd love to have a gauge there. Wish Rix still sold his gauge pod...

OMG
You're right... that is an OOOLLLLD post back from 2008 or something... and now that you mention i do recall him saying he took and exhaust clamp and used 2-sided tape to stick it to his dash.. it fit a 52mm gauge perfectly... |

BUMP, updated.
This is what I came up with for a mounting solution I mounted the guage to the pillar (with just a tiny screw hole drilled through it) and the lines run through the small vent just under the guage. I will need to get a "cup" for the backside of the pod because it looks unfinished out there now, I will update when I get done. The only other thing I would like to change is the guage lights up when the power is on now, I'd like to undo that. X.. |

Isnt there an airbag in the window pillar?
Hence the reason no one manufactures a window pillar pod for our E9x... If you get into and accident that thing is flying off. Quote:

I really wish someone made a guage with mounting like the first post....I don't know if i'm creative enough to use the exhaust clamp
