Mineral white
Finally sorted my spec out for my new 335, only to hear that BMW are launching a metallic white in the E90, namely mineral white.
My question is, has anyone seen it in the flesh, as it is available on the 7 series already? It is a no cost option, on the 335, but isn't available until June, which will prolong my order, but is it worth the wait? I have found the following Youtube clip on a M3 in brilliant white(special order), however I believe the colour is the mineral white, and brilliant is just the US's name for it; You can really see the colour at the end when it is out in the sunlight. Any comments appreciated, oh and the timescale isnt a problem, so I can wait

I would go for the new colour, will be more exclusive at least for a while. There are loads of the current shade of white cars about so go for something different. Were pics a while back of an exclusive white M3 which really did look good.

I think it might be on the BMW.de configurator.
Pick a coupe, then its a 1950EUR individual option for Mondstein (=Moonstone = a mineral) Metallic. It looks a lot darker than alpine white, but hard to tell in the rendered shots - of course it maybe a different colour. |

M3 below is Moonstone so not relevant, but worth a look anyway as the pics in the sun bring the colour out well!

The mineral white looks good. I saw it in the showroom on 7 series. I just placed my M3 order today with mineral white. I think the paint will be a bit thicker than alpine.
