Torque specs - differential

Does anyone have the torque specs for the following (or know where I could find these):

1) Insert nut that connects the rear of the driveshaft to the differential
2) Half-shaft torx bolts

Need to supply these to a tranny shop next week. They're looking into a noise/clunk issue with the recently installed wavetrac LSD. It happens only on hard/fast upshifts, as the shifter goes into gear (sound is definitely from the rear). From reading up on some posts it might be that the insert nut isn't tightened enough. Doubt its a backlash issue as noise wouldn't be isolated ONLY to hard/fast upshifts...it'd be heard on acceleration as well...

You need the Bentley Manual.

Rear driveshaft to differential (flange nut) 75nm (55ft-lb)

Driveshaft axle to diff flange:

Torx M8 = 38.3 ft-lb (this is what I think you are asking about, these are the only bolts I replaced for my complete final drive quaife unit install from Harold)
Torx M10 = 51.6 ft-lb
Torx M12 88.5 ft-lb

You should really get a hold of the Bentley Manual. Lots of other torque specs, things that should not be re-used, etc.

Confirm these numbers above with more a few more people. Good luck.

i should look into this as well. i just thought about it and i think my makes a thud on downshifts more than upshifts, and obviously thats when im coming to a complete stop

totally different problem there..
the thud you hear is usually caused by bad EGS parameters --
the EGS (transmission) control unit needs to be reprogrammed to eliminate that issue.
