E90 M Sport Edition - wheels and spacers advice?
Hello
I'm looking for any advice, opinions, pics and specs that could help me decide what to do with my wheels to give it a sportier look. I'd love to put some 19" wheels on it, but I worry about the ride quality. I'd be looking at repro wheels due to cash, and feel somewhat wary about replacing good quality stock wheels. These 18" are nice I think, but they don't really give off a sporty enough look for me. So I wondered what you might think could be done to make it have a more aggressive stance with the 18s? Lowering? Adding spacers? I don't really know much about alloy wheels, so any help with specs and pics would be most appreciated. |

I have the same car with the non M sport package 2010 and 17in wheels. I went with 10mm rear spacers and 5mm front. The font ones are very hard to center correctly but the 10mm look perfect. I originally got 12mm for the rear but it ever so slightly rubbed on the letters of the outer tire, so 10mm was perfect.

The Matte Black Grills are must and I would also recommend that you check out the Avant Garde M310 for your E90 Msport! These Avant Garde Wheels are low pressure cast, making them stronger and lighter when compared to gravity cast wheels. Avant Garde has designed these 310 wheels a patented way to give them more strength without adding extra weight. These Avant Garde 310 Wheels have a staggering 815kg/1835lb load rating which is more than enough for your 3series. I've included a picture below for you to check out. I'll shoot you over a PM with more details!

15mm spacers in the rear would help on the tucked look the OEM wheels has in the rear on the e90.

Can you confirm the optimal final offsets for front/rear?

If you would happen to know the offsets and widths you currently have, we can help you out.
Measuring the gap to determine spacer size would be the most accurate way IMO. -Charles@VMRWheels

Your OEM wheels are ET34 front and ET37 rear.
15mm spacers in the rear will give you ET22.
