Reduced power problems engine management light

So I've had a few problems befor with the engine light comin up and I assumed it was the hpfp packing up. Last week I installed new downpipes on my 335i. I didn't install the BMs dp fix cos no lights came up an it was running fine.
Yesterday mornin I started the car an instantly the reduced power sign came up and it was running so lumpy almost like a miss fire, I drove the car to the end of the road, turned engine off then on and light stayed on dash but no reduced power. This also happened this morning. Could this be because I haven't installed dp fix or is this my hpfp on it's last legs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

you need to get a bt cable and look at the codes. I had limp mode few times one time after my hpfp was replaced the low pressure sensor went bad. Its not from your mods.

ok thanks mate, so if i get a bt cable does that connect from the car to the laptop, do i need any programs??
i have a hpfp sitting here in my room so i dunno whether to fit it, i cant really rely on warranty as its too much hassle to remove all my mods.
