Agreed- with PE and BMW Performance air intake + BMS powerbox my car sounds like a beast. When I hit the gas, people turn their heads. I think the OP got the Chinese bootleg version or a raw deal at the dealer- I'd go after them.

Youd notice the PE, and I have cut them open, thats how I made my exhaust after seeing the inside of one.

I sure hope so. Frankie90 took me around the block so I could hear his PE. It wasn't as loud as I hoped. His E90 is a sweet ride btw! I think my 330i with my Injen intake and oem exhaust is much louder. Of course you just are hearing my filter. I want something not as loud as a MD and not as quiet as a PE. I guess the PE in a lot of youtube videos sounds loud because the camera is close to it. It would be cool if Vanguard puts out a exhaust for non 335i E90's.

There is actually video in the headers thread, it was done with some handy welding skills and airflow tests. It ends up flowing great all while maintaining backpressure so the car doesn't lag on the bottom end. Which was my first concern, due to my headers + muffler delete.

Now all is well all my power is back and the car is much more pleasant to drive, pretty quiet inside the car and outside is nice and agressive. On a non header car, you will be looking at a little more agressive then a PE, but less the overly loud muffler delete.

Craven that is Awesome "City Sleeper" -

But if you look at your car it's not a sleeper. I wouldn't want to race you and with the NOS on your brain too. No way
