Warning. M Sport Drivers
I bought AG M310's couple days ago..had them put on my car but they didn't fit because of my M sport brakes...I warn you do not buy these for your car if you have the M Sport package on a e90.
These are the 18 inch m310's. They do not fit. I was screwed..I don't want any of you to be screwed. Thanks to Craven328(Gavin) for all the help..if you need wheels ask him! But Avant Garde needs to step their game up because they do not make M sport package friendly wheels.

I may be mistaken as I dont own the E90 but on my E92 M-Sport 335 the brakes are no different than any other 335.
Im pretty sure the only thing M-Sport gives you is Exterior Aero package and Interior M knob, sills, steering wheel and dead pedal. |

That's what I was thinking too. What offsets did you order for the rear?

It has been brought to our attention late Friday that we have a fitment issue with the 18" AvantGarde M310 for the E90 and E92 335i. We originally test fitted the wheel on a 2007 E90 335i. The front brakes were close to the barrel but it did clear. Since we were notified of the brake issues on Friday, we have test fitted two additional E90 and E92 335i and indeed there is a clearance issue with the barrel. More specifically, the wheels does not clear the diameter of the brakes. The 335i has huge front rotors at 348 millimeters. For a reference point, Porsche 997 Turbo's front brakes are 350 millimeters.
We have notified our factory and modification is being made to clear those models. We should have a new batch that will clear the 335i brakes within 45 days. In the mean time, we will notify our vendors that the current batch we have does not clear the E90 and E92 335i brakes. (It will clear all other E90 and E92 models) For the few customer that has received the wheels already, we sincerely apologize for the trouble. We will offer free upgrade to the 19" Avant Garde M310 for those customers. Or if the customer wish to return the wheels, we will pay for the return freight and offer full refunds. At Avant Garde Wheels, we value our customer greatly. Our goal is to offer top quality wheels at affordable prices. Please feel free to email us at cs@avantgardewheels.com if you have any further questions. Thanks again! Last edited by avantgarde; 07-24-2010 at 05:11 AM.. |

First time I've heard of clearing issues with 18" on 335i, weird since oem 17" fits.

Avant handled the whole thing great, and we're remedying the situation. Just a bummer because the rims look so good! Cant wait to have the revised ones come in |

+1 to Avant for how they handled the situation. I will be looking to get the new rims that clear once they come out..until then I'll be sitting on my pretty M wheels.

Just fitted VMR VB3 18" (18x8.5ET40F/18x9.5ET45R) wheels to my 335i M-Sport and I don't have any issue.
