noob question

does getting 19in rims on stock sport suspension make the car sit higher off the ground vs the stock rims? if so does anyone know by how much? tried a search but found nothing.

No, not with OEM size 19" tires.

Well yes, but the difference is very small from, lets say, the oem 255/30/19 to a 275/30/19.

You won't notice it sits a bit higher. In fact, due to the fact that the wheel total diameter is higher, it will feel the wheel arch better and the car will appear to sit a bit lower.

PS: use the calculator above to see an estimation of how the wheel diameter differs for different tire specs.

The is the general common question for those who plan on upgrading.

The difference is extremely minimal. Your eyes will most likely play tricks on you and make you feel like it is a higher, but virtually its about the same.
