calcium deposit on 335i engine?
just bought my car and was detailing my engine and noticed calcium deposite on my engine and i can not get it off no matter what i do.. Does anyone else have this or have any suggestions on how to get it off? Pics below

Like all things in detailing, try the least aggressive products first IMO. I'd first try a better cleaner. I use 303 Aerospace Protectant, which cleans and dresses a bit. If that doesn't work, maybe a more aggressive dressing. Something like Mother's Back to Black or Duragloss 271. If you need to go harder than that, a dye-based product like Forever Black will work.

I assume this is a before pic. Dilute Simple Green 4:1 and spray it down and let it sit, use a soft brush and scrub it good. Lightly rinse and dry and dress it. It should be good to go.
