Courtesy/Footwell Lights Retrofit
Ok so I'm going to wire up both front footwell lights and eventually the two under doorcard lights, but for the moment just the footwells.
When I get a spare few hours possibly next weekend I'm going to have a crack, but to save me going through all the plugs/pins with a multimeter to see which is the switched wire and which is live, was just wondering if anyone had done this on an E90? Wiring diagrams haven't been an awful lot of help as they don't seem to correspond with any of the plugs in my FRM. Once I've wired these I figured it'll be a doddle to piggyback in parallel and do the under doorcard ones. Cheers M |

Oh crap Suresh I came back in here to say I'd just fitted them to the front footwells and didn't even know you'd replied with that.
Anyway it's quite a simple task IF you know what pins/plugs/part of the FRM to wire to. I'll get some pictures and install instructions up soon. Really like the effect. Now for the doorcard lights it's just a case of piggybacking from the front footwells and wiring through the doors. Looking forward to that one now. |
